Ways to create a ticket

Employees in the Division of Student Affairs may contact Student Affairs IT (SAIT) for assistance with technology issues and questions, as described below.

By Phone

Employees in the Division of Student Affairs can contact Student Affairs IT (SAIT) by phone at 309-438-1111 during normal business hours, 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday.

By Email

Employees in the Division of Student Affairs can email StudentAffairsIT@IllinoisState.edu to have a ticket auto-generated. Be sure to include a description of your issue or request, including a phone number where you may be reached.

In Person

Employees in the Division of Student Affairs are free to stop by the SAIT Help Desk in the Student Services Building, Room 140, and speak with a SAIT representative.

Online

All students, faculty, and staff may submit a ticket through the IT Help Portal. If you are an employee in the Division of Student Affairs, SAIT will contact you after you submit a ticket.

Afterhours Emergency Support

If you are an employee in the Division of Student Affairs who is experiencing a technology-related emergency at a time when the SAIT Help Desk is closed, you may request after hours emergency support.

To do so, call (309) 438-1111 and press 1 to select the emergency afterhours option. You will be asked to leave a voice mail with your name, phone number, and the nature of your emergency. A member of Student Affairs IT will call you to assist.

What is an Emergency?

An emergency is a technology-related problem that is preventing you from performing critical work that is time sensitive.

If you can wait to have your problem addressed, send an email to StudentAffairsIT@IllinoisState.edu and a member of SAIT will contact you the next business day to assist.
