Student Affairs Information Technology provides equipment available for check-out to Division of Student Affairs staff members.
You can find a full list of what we offer in the Equipment Inventory. To request equipment, contact Student Affairs IT either by phone at 438-1111, by email at StudentAffairsIT@ilstu.edu, or through the IT Help portal.
We ask that you give a brief explanation of why you need the equipment and what it will be used for. This will help us avoid duplicates and make sure we give you all the equipment you will need. When making a request list the equipment you will need as well as the dates and times needed, and the location.
Once received, the request will be processed by a front-line support staff member. If the equipment requested is not available, a member of the Student Affairs IT team will contact you. To ensure the equipment reservation process goes smoothly, we ask you to follow these guidelines:
Make your request as early as possible
For students working in the Division of Student Affairs, please have your supervisor make the request on your behalf
Note the date, time and location (see Delivery & Return for more information below)
Determine what programs or additional equipment you will need (Microsoft Office, Cisco VPN, and the Internet are provided)
When making your reservation also keep in mind, Student Affairs IT provides both pick-up and delivery of equipment. Each request is handled individually and can be customized for the staff member requesting equipment. Options available include:
